60 minute Yoga classes for Physical and Mental Health

Yoga classes are suitable for those new to Yoga and those wishing to improve their practice. Classes take place on the following dates in St. Colmcilles Community Hall, Upper Newtownards Road Belfast. Class times are from 19:00 to 20:00. Free parking is available. The hall is right next to the G2 bus stop.

August: 20th, 27th

8-week Mindfulness Course (Online)

The course has been developed by Minded Now in Oxford.  An 8-week course to take you through the principles of Mindfulness with easy-to-follow practices. Clients will be encouraged to develop their skills of self-enquiry throughout the course.

Number of attendees: Unlimited and can include family members.

 

121 Yoga Therapy & Mindfulness Sessions (In person or Online)

Yoga Therapy uses Yoga and Mindfulness techniques to promote physical and mental wellbeing.  It can be used to treat and improve wellbeing in many conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, back ache, chronic pain, IBS, fatigue and cancer relates symptoms etc.

·      The sessions would be tailored to the specific needs of the client, they would be required to complete an intake form.

·      The initial session would include a review of the intake form and a recommended yoga and mindfulness practice for the client.

·      The sessions will include breathing techniques, gentle yoga and mindfulness practices and relaxation if appropriate.

·      Each session will last 60 minutes

Online Mindfulness Workshop for Line Managers & Teams (Online or in person)

·      5 x 30-minute Mindfulness practices

·      The initial session would include an overview of why we practice mindfulness and the benefits.

·      Each session will include an easy to follow mindfulness practice.

·      Each day I will give the participants a ‘take away’ practice for them to try in the evening

·      Support with developing comms to the company to promote the sessions.

Yoga Therapy for the Mind 8-week course (In person, location TBC)

This course has been developed by the Minded Institute in London.  The aim of the course is to help those suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression.  The course recognises the many ways that we are impacted by our mental health.  During the classes we will work through many of those elements to help clients heal and develop mental strength and resilience.    

·      8 x 75-minute classes, each class will provide a theme, yoga pastures, breathwork, an activity and a group discussion.

·      Each participant will be provided with a course manual
